Souls Shot Portrait Project Runs Through August
Following an opening reception and program on the Cathedral's Anti-Gun Violence Sunday, portraits from the Souls Shot Portrait Project will remain exhibited at the Cathedral through August 27, 2024. Fine artists, paired with loved ones of gun violence victims, have created portraits emphasizing the uniqueness of the souls portrayed. The mission of the project is to bring attention to and memorialize the lives lost and tragically altered due to gun violence.
The Souls Shot Portrait Project envisions a community free from gun violence. The nearly one hundred artists are passionate about using their talents to create top quality, consummate artworks that create a relationship with the viewer and animate the lives of those afflicted by gun violence.
Cathedral guests may view the exhibit during Cathedral events or call the Cathedral office at (215) 386-0234 to make an appointment.
