Mr. Charles Carr

Charlie has been a congregant at the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral since 2015. A lifelong Christian and active church member, Charlie joined the Cathedral congregation following earlier affiliations with Episcopal parishes in both Los Angeles and Philadelphia. Charlie feels strongly about the mission of the Cathedral as a center for worship and public service within its neighborhood of West Philadelphia and as a model for progressive Christian witness within the diocese.

Having retired from a career in sales, marketing and leadership development within the pharmaceutical industry, Charlie splits his time between Philadelphia and south Florida. He is married to his spouse of many years, and he cultivates a reputation as favorite uncle to each of his many nieces and nephews. Charlie leads an active lifestyle, and he has a keen interest in travel, the natural world, and in learning from the diverse cultures within our nation and across the world.
