Ms. Anna Gerrity

Anna Gerrity is a lifelong Episcopalian, and a member of the Church of the Redeemer, Bryn Mawr, since 1990. She has served in several volunteer capacities there, including on a Rector search committee, two terms on the Vestry, as a youth group leader for ten years, and as a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd teacher for another ten. In the 90’s Anna completed Education for Ministry and in 2008 she was called to be a Lay Healing Minister. While this ministry has been paused due to the pandemic, the hope is to resume in the

future. Anna currently participates in a variety of committees at the Church, and additionally served for several years on the Board of Episcopal Community Services.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Anna has worked in Community Mental Health practices with underserved populations, and at the Coatesville Veterans Administration as an outpatient mental health provider to Veterans of all ages and with a variety of mental health- emotional, physical and social- needs. She left this position in early summer 2020 due to Covid 19 concerns and the need to focus on family home health care. Plans are underway for her to join a group practice soon.

Anna and her husband just celebrated 37 years of marriage, have four adult children, two married, and two grandchildren. Anna most enjoys time spent with family and now grandchildren, as well as cooking, reading, hiking, yoga, meditation, and time with friends.
