Mr. Gie Liem

Mr. Liem had founded Growth Properties in 1980, its projects included historic renovations, commercial and residential properties.  Later activities focused on owning and operating hotels in the greater Philadelphia region while managing several hotels in the mid-Atlantic Region.

Prior to Growth Properties, Mr. Liem worked at Air Products and Chemicals’ headquarters where he had responsibilities in strategic planning and in the corporate controller’s office.  Mr. Liem had been active with several non-profit organizations such as Please Touch Museum which he chaired for 8 years, the Settlement Music School and real estate projects for the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral.

Now retired, Mr. Liem has a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance from Drexel University.
