The Cathedral is organizing a Young Adult Night at the Philadelphia Art Museum on Friday, October 30th at 5:30 pm.
The event is “pay what you wish” and registration can be done by clicking here. Select Friday, October 30th. and the event for 5:00 pm “Pay What You Wish Friday - Daily Entry” and meet other Cathedral members on the Rocky Steps at 5:30.

The Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral will join with the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Boston and other cathedrals around the country in an Election-Eve Service for Peaceful and Just Elections across the nation.

4th Sunday at the Cathedral: Evensong for the Close of the Church Year

As we draw to the close of the church’s liturgical year, the Cathedral Singers, under the direction of Thomas Lloyd and organist Erik Meyer, will offer a service of Choral Evensong. The service will include Stephen Caraccicolo’s “Evening Service in A” and Thomas Lloyd’s setting of Howard Thurman’s beloved “Litany of Thanksgiving”.
A new liturgical year begins on the first Sunday of Advent. The liturgy begins with the lighting of the first candle of the Advent wreath. Advent is a holy and penitential season as we wait in joyful anticipation for the birth of Christ.
The Cathedral partners again this year with religious communities in the neighborhood for Night Church. The service includes Taizé music, scripture readings and meditations. December is our turn to host. A light supper will follow.
