Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral
Looking for a way to celebrate Flag Day? At 10:30 a.m. on Saturday June 14, Cathedral Organist Erik Meyer will present a 45 minute concert of patriotic music that celebrates our nation and its people.
Music will include Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man", Charles Ives' "Variations on America", Dudley Buck's "Star Spangled Banner Variations", John Williams' "Star Wars", and of course John Philip Sousa's "The Stars and Stripes Forever" - all played on the Cathedral's magnificent 3,277 pipe organ.
After the concert, enjoy a hoagie at the Cathedral before making your way to Love Park at 16th & Arch Streets in Center City, where the Flag Day celebration continues with a rally led by Indivisible.org
