The Right Reverend Daniel G. P. Gutiérrez invites the clergy and people of the Diocese of Pennsylvania to gather at the Cathedral for the annual Chrism Mass.

During this sacred liturgy, the Bishop will consecrate the sacred chrism and bless the holy oils to be used in the sacraments throughout the Diocese in the coming year. Clergy will also renew their ordinations vows. The Chrism Mass is one of the most solemn liturgies of the church year.  This ancient tradition reflects the unity of the Diocese under the ministry of the Bishop.
