The Second Sunday after Pentecost
10:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist
The Very Reverend Abigail Crozier Nestlehutt, Preacher
Join us for worship at the Cathedral on the Second Sunday after Pentecost as we honor our Cathedral graduates.
We also celebrate Pride Sunday. All are welcome.
In celebration of Pride Month, this morning’s organ prelude, postlude, and communion voluntary will feature works by LGBTQ+ composer Calvin Hampton (1938-1984) who was a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory. He was the long-time organist at Calvary Episcopal Church in Manhattan, where he ran a popular midnight organ concert series. Many of his hymns can be found in the Episcopal hymnal. He died at 45, one of the many victims of the AIDS epidemic.
